Ferdi's 6th annual Volkswagen Swop Meet 2012

We made great purchases at Ferdi's annual Swop Meeting in Midrand this weekend. Switch board cover, smaller door rubbers and the long lost jack with bargain price. Great day in all even we only had time to enjoy the event for couple of hours.

Cars in the Park Zwartkop Raceway 2012

On Sunday we headed to the Zwartkop Raceway in Pretoria to attend the annual Cars in the Park. Lots of really nice cars, beautiful weather and the braai. What a nice event, and hopefuly the beginning for the spring!

Finishing Touches

The sound and heat insulation, and the painting of the inside floor.

Carpets finished.

New three point seat belts fitted. The seat belts being the only thing in the beetle not being standard, for safety reasons.

The front bumper was re-chromed, AA membership sign was fitted.

The belly pan was rubberised.

A new 6 volt battery fitted under the back seat.
